Christmas 2010

We had a wonderful Christmas this year! A few days before Christmas, Wayne's dad, stepmom, and sister came over and we exchanged gifts with them. They brought over many adorable gifts for Anderson! Then, we spent Christmas morning at my dad's house, enjoying a breakfast casserole, orange rolls, and other yummy breakfast snacks while we opened gifts. Anderson slept through the whole thing (surprise, surprise)! In the afternoon, we went to Wayne's Granny's house and we exchanged gifts there. It was a pretty busy day and we were so excited to celebrate Anderson's first Christmas!

Anderson - Month One

Anderson spent most of his first month eating and sleeping.  He didn't sleep for more than two hours at a time and whenever he was awake he wanted to eat!  For the first few weeks, he thought that he needed to be wide awake from about 1 a.m. to 3 a.m. each morning.  Luckily, he decided that he'd rather sleep at night, so that phase didn't last too long.  By the time he was two weeks old he was able to have his first real bath and by about four weeks he gave us his first smile (we couldn't catch a picture of one until about 6 weeks)!  We feel so blessed to have this adorable, sweet boy with us!

Thanksgiving

Anderson arrived just in time for Thanksgiving!  I had purchased an adorable outfit the week before he was born in hopes that he could wear it on Thanksgiving.  His Grandma Watkins also gave him a cute outfit, which worked out well since his first outfit only made it halfway through the day. 

Anderson's Arrival

Anderson is finally here!  He arrived on November 18, 2010 at 11:15 p.m.  He weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces and measured 21 inches.  His most commented on attribute is his full head of dark brown hair!
